Registration Procedure

Registration may only be made online (www.iccva.com), by fax or by mail.

Payment is also possible with credit card (Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard are accepted). Please note that the option of a direct debit service from your bank account is also available to pay your congress fees – however, due to technical reasons, this facility is only available through bank accounts held within Germany.

Please arrange a separate transfer for each participant. The name used to transfer the registration fee must be that of the delegate registered. In the event of a combined transfer for more than one participant then the names or numbers of each registrant must appear on the confirmation sheet relating to the transfer.

Your registration is binding. A confirmation will be sent to you on receipt of your registration. The registration is also binding without the confirmation.

Please note that the participation fees will automatically be raised following the deadline of 31st August 2008. If registering after the 5th September 2008 we kindly request you to register directly onsite at the registration counter in the Charitè Convention Center. In the event of a registration being cancelled before the 4th September 2008 we must charge a cancellation fee of € 20,-. Beyond this deadline, or in the case of non participation, the complete amount will become due and the congress fee is then non-refundable. A refund of seminar or workshop fees will not be possible at any stage due to the limited number of participants.

Please note that the cancellation of registration must be confirmed in writing (including fax or e-mail).

No liability shall be assumed for changes in the programm or for postponements of events.

The organizer reserves the right to change the time or the venue of events or parts thereof (workshops, seminars, courses etc.). This shall also entail the cancellation of individual program elements. This shall not result in the right to withdrawal for the attendees. Claims to damages resulting therefrom will not be recocnised. The organizer undertakes to notify the attendees immediately on becoming aware of necessary changes.

The organizer shall further more not be liable to ensure the presence of announced speakers. Failure to attend by the announced speaker shall not mean that a claim to damages of any kind shall accrue to the attendee. The organizer shall endeavour to remedy the absence of a particular speaker by providing an adequate replacement. The current status of the planed speakers can be seen from the online publication upto one week before the start of the event. Later amendments shall no longer be possible online for technical reasons.

Over and above this, the claim to damages for defective, non-existent or incomplete publications in the printed matter or on the website of the congress shall be ruled out.

Room capacities

The number of participants is limited by the room capacities of the respective lecture halls. Despite greatest efforts in planning a complete occupation of parts of the meeting - which are to be attended with day or permanent passes - cannot be prevented except those seminars, workshops which are to be booked separately. A legal claim for participation as well as reduction of the congress fee does not arise from this.
